The difference is to comply with the university regulation that only an electronic version of the certificate for conference participation can be issued to Wenzaorians. For those non-Wenzaorians, you will get a printed version of the conference participation certificate at the conference. Thank you for your attention!!

Result of abstract review
Result of abstract review for the 2015ICLES at Wenzao has come out! Please do check your email for individual notification of the result. You are cordially invited to take part in the 2015ICLES either as a paper presenter or simply as a conference participant. Either way, you get to engage in an academically rigorous gathering with the academics around the globe. At the end of the conference day, you can also relax in Kaohsiung’s amical and safe ambiance as well as sample the diversified Taiwanese “small eats” offered at the night markets and restaurants.

Dr. Alan Waters from Lancaster University joining 2015 ICLES
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Alan Waters, Honorary Professor from Lancaster University, England, will join our 2015 ICLES conference this May. Dr. Waters will host the session joined by all of our keynote speakers for an intellectually stimulating discussion on the future of applied linguistics, particularly pertaining to language education. Dr. Waters is specialized in innovation in ELT, teacher education in ELT, and methodology of ELT (including materials design).

Trip to Kenting National Park
Another great piece of news for our conference participants is that a trip to Kenting National Park is to be conducted on May 25. Kenting National Park is being credited as the number one must-visit tourist site by numerous visitors home and abroad. Places for the trip will be open for sign-up along with the conference registration, on Apr. 1.
